DIGIVESTASI - The Illegal Financial Activities Eradication Task Force (PASTI Task Force) has blocked access and links/URLs to smart wallet applications. This was done with reference to the findings of the Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency and the Domestic Trade Supervisory Agency of the Ministry of Trade.

"Smart wallets are known to carry out fundraising activities under the guise of trading robots / professional advisors with a multi-level marketing system and do not have a license to operate in Indonesia," said Eradication Task Force Secretariat Hudyanto. In his official statement, Monday (March 18), it refers to illegal financial activities.

In addition, the PASTI Task Force will freeze the account numbers associated with the application and coordinate with law enforcement. "Eradicating illicit financial activities really needs the support and participation of the community in the form of vigilance in accepting offers from irresponsible parties," explained Hudyanto.

Mr. Khudiyanto reminded the public to always pay attention to two important aspects, namely the legal aspect and the logical aspect (2L). Legal means ensuring that the product or service provided has the appropriate license from the relevant authority/institution overseeing it. Logical means always paying attention to the consequences and benefits, whether logical or not.
