DIGIVESTASI - YouTube has announced the launch of a dedicated platform to support AR/VR Vision Pro devices. After that, the Vision Pro version of the app will offer a different content viewing experience. YouTube spokesperson Jessica Gibby recently confirmed that a Vision Pro version of the app is on the company's roadmap. However, the specifications and release schedule have not been clearly announced. 

As quoted from The Verge, Gibby said on Tuesday (6/2/2024), "We are very excited about the launch of Vision Pro and are committed to supporting YouTube users by giving them a great Safari experience." There's no clear information on these plans yet, so it's unclear what YouTube will do next. However, one thing is certain: YouTube and Apple have never supported large libraries of 360-degree or VR videos.
