PT Astra International Tbk. (ASII) recorded net revenue of Rp243.87 trillion in January–September 2026, broadly flat from Rp243.61 trillion a year earlier. Net income excluding nonrecurring items was Rp24.57 trillion, down 1% year on year. Including those items, net income was Rp21.60 trillion, a 12% decline.
Performance varied across segments. Bisnis.com reported that financial-services profit rose 8% to Rp9.79 trillion, while profit from automotive and related businesses increased 6% to Rp7.15 trillion. By contrast, profit from heavy equipment, mining, construction and energy fell 28% to Rp5.07 trillion. In the third quarter, that segment’s profit was 15% higher than a year earlier.
Martabe mine operations resumed in the second quarter after an earlier suspension. Gold sales in the nine-month period were reported at 54,000 ounces, compared with 178,000 ounces in the corresponding period. The difference is one context for assessing the operational recovery, not a standalone measure of the whole group’s performance.
Astra also announced a share buyback. Investors should separate nonrecurring items, segment changes, commodity sales and automotive-industry conditions when reading the results. Past performance does not guarantee future outcomes.
