DIGIVESTASI - President Joko Widodo on Wednesday (February 21, 2024) officially appointed Democratic Party leader Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) as Minister of Agriculture and Spatial Planning (ATR) or Director General of the National Land Agency (BPN). In addition, Jokowi also appointed Hadi Jahjanto as Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs. 

The inauguration ceremony took place on Wednesday (February 21, 2024) at the State Palace in Jakarta. Hadi and AHY were appointed based on Presidential Decree Number 34P of 2024.  Citing the Corruption Eradication Commission's (KPK) Civil Servant Wealth Report (LHKPN) released in October 2016, AHY has assets worth IDR 15.2 billion.  Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, son of the President of the Republic of Indonesia (2004-2014), was a military officer before entering politics. He later entered politics as the leader of the Democratic Party.  

AHY's name became known to the public when he ran for Governor of DKI Jakarta in the 2017 Pilkada. At that time, he was paired with Silviana Murni. AHY's assets include land and three buildings worth Rp6,772,645,000, one vehicle worth Rp550,000,000, one company worth Rp360,000,000, other movable assets worth Rp688,800,000, and current accounts and cash equivalents worth Rp6,920. 360.024. The report also states that AHY has no debt and has no valuable assets. 

Hadi is said to have assets amounting to IDR 22.84 billion, which was last reported on March 27, 2023. He owns five properties and buildings in Malang and Jakarta worth a total of Rp 6.97 billion. Hadi also has movable assets worth Rp 486 million in the form of a Toyota Kijang minibus, Toyota Kijang Innova minibus, Honda CR-V JEEP, and Honda motorcycle. 

The former Air Force Chief of Staff also has movable assets worth Rp 1.9 billion, securities worth Rp 3 billion, and cash and cash equivalents worth Rp 10.48 billion.
