PUPR Ministry ensures toll roads and national highways are ready to accommodate Nataru

DIGIVESTASI - The government ensures that toll roads and national highways are ready to ensure the smooth flow of traffic during the Christmas 2023 and New Year 2024 holidays. 

 

Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuljono said, currently the length of Indonesia's national road network is 47,603 km with an average reliability of 92.2%, while the Operational Collection Fee is 2,816 km. 

 

"The toll road construction is expected to reach a length of 357 km by the end of 2023. In November 2023, a length of 236 km will be in operation, then 121 km can also be operated functionally during the 2023 Christmas and New Year holidays". 2024," said Minister Basuki. 

 

The 1,782 km of toll roads operating on Java Island are equipped with 92 TIPs (rest and service areas).  The addition of active toll roads on Java Island along 90.6 km, namely the Cinere-Jagorawi Toll Road, Kukusan-Jc.Krukut Section and JC Krukut ramp, Cinere-Jagorawi Jagorawi Toll Road, JC Krukut-Cinere Toll Road, Bekasi-Cawang-Kampung Melayu Toll Road, Jakasampurna-Marga Jaya Toll Road.

 

Then there is the Cimanggis-Cibitung Toll Road, Jatikarya-Cikeas section, Serpong-Cinere Toll Road, Pamulang-Cinere section, Cibitung-Cilincing Toll Road, IC.Tarumajaya-JC.Cilincing section, Pasuruan-Probolinggo toll road, Probolinggo-Gending East Section, Ciawi-Sukabumi Toll Road, Cigombong-Cibadak section. Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan Toll Road, Cimalaka-Dawuan section and Semarang-Demak Toll Road, Sayung-Demak section. 

 

The Cikampek II Toll Road in South Jakarta, the Kutanegara-Sadang section, and the Solo-Yogyakarta-NYIA Toll Road, the Kartasura-Karanganom section will also operate during the 2023 Christmas and 2024 New Year holidays. This time, 4,581 km of national roads on Java Island have been completed," Basuki said. 

 

In addition, on Bali Island, the 10.1 km Bali-Mandara toll road and 364.6 km of national toll roads are ready. Meanwhile, 7,467 km of national highways on Sumatra Island have been completed. 

 

The addition of operational toll roads has also been carried out on the island of Sumatra along 146 km, namely Sigli-Banda Aceh Toll Road, Blang Bintang-Kutobaru-Baitussalam Toll Road, Binjai-Langsa Toll Road, Stabat-Kuala Bingai Toll Road. -Indralaya-Muara Enim Interchange Toll Road, Indralaya-Prabumulih Toll Road, Indrapura Toll Road. -Indrapura-Limapuluh section, Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat toll road, Tebing Tinggi-JC toll road. Indrapura section and JC.Indrapura-SS Indrapura section.

 

Even more; Binjai-Langsa Toll Road Kuala Bingai-Tanjung Pura section. The Kuala Tanjung-Tebing Tinggi-Parapat Toll Road, Bangkinang-Tanjung Alai Toll Road, and the Kuala Bingai-Tanjung Pura section of the Binjai-Langsa Toll Road will also operate during the 2023 Christmas and 2024 New Year holidays. Then on Kalimantan Island there is the 97 km Balikpapan-Samarinda Toll Road and 5,563 km of National Toll Road. 

 

While the active toll road on Sulawesi Island along 62 km includes Ujung Pandang / Makassar Toll Road Section 1 to 3, Makassar Toll Road Section 4, and Manado-Bitung Toll Road. 

 

Additional toll roads that are already operational/functional, especially to the Makassar New Port phase 1 and 2 have also been implemented. The finished national roads on Sulawesi Island have a length of 18,782.8 km. 

 

"We are also improving regional roads through the Regional Road Presidential Instruction, including Lampung Toll Road, North Sumatra Tourism Access Road, Bogor Peak Access Road, Basuki said, and the Paseh-Congeang section to support the Cisumdawu Toll Road exit." 

 

He added that the Ministry also ensures that there are no road repair activities after H-10, provides the Toll Road Supervisory Agency (BPJT) Information application and provides sanitation cabins, water tank cars, sanitation buses, detergent feces vacuum cleaners and public fire hydrants.  

 

Disaster response teams are also warned about places prone to natural disasters.
